Background checks are run directly through TradeGuard, so trade partners complete them as part of the same flow. If something is missing, doesn't meet your requirements, or needs to be fixed, we work directly with the trade partner. If they need coverage, they can purchase it through TradeGuard Insurance directly inside the onboarding flow.

A COI is not the same thing as active coverage.
A trade partner can submit a COI and cancel the policy right after. The certificate still looks valid, and most teams do not find out until there is a claim or an audit.
